Book Your Sugaring

Preparing for Your Appointment

Please allow hair to grow to at least ¼ “ for best results. Shorter hair is often sugarable, but it depends on the client. Hair that has been sugared often and regularly will come away much easier, so it can be shorter. Hair that has never been sugared has a larger bulbous root, and is therefore more difficult to remove.

Please ensure that skin is clean and free of all lotions, oils, deodorants, etc. All of these products coat the hair, and make it more difficult for the sugar to adhere.

After Your Appointment

Your Sugaring treatment has exposed a fresh new skin layer, so be gentle with it for 24 hours. It is recommended that you do not have a hot shower or bath for 24 hours and wear sunscreen for prolonged sun exposure. Exfoliate and moisturize often after 24 hours. We recommend Sugar Betty Sugar Balm and Mud Mask, specifically formulated to help nourish, exfoliate and condition skin to reduce bumps and the occurrence of ingrown hairs even further.
